Also known as "wax carvers," these tools are excellent for controlled application of glue. Although universal in use, they are particularly suited for key bushing jobs and fit perfectly in key mortises. Cleaning them before the glue dries will keep them useful, but in case you forget, you can usually carefully scrape wood glue off of them with a razor.
